Since 1919: Porcelain, Art, and Innovation
For more than 100 years, the Maison Laure SELIGNAC has been offering you Porcelain, Art and Innovation. Unique creations with rare craftsmanship linked by an invisible thread to the timeless.
Let us explain our history :
For over a century, Maison Laure Sélignac has been synonymous with artistic porcelain and innovative craftsmanship.
Our story began on September 19, 1919, when Jean Larat and his wife founded the company Paris Style (family lore suggests the origins trace back to Sélignac, a village near Limoges).
In 1943, Laure assumed leadership of the company. By the early 1950s, she successfully introduced our luxury porcelain to the American market, establishing an international presence.
In 1993, then-President Madame De Rambure chose to rename the House. The name Laure Sélignac was selected—partly as an homage to Laure and to the gold (L'or) that defines our art, but primarily to establish a tradition: the Maison would forever bear a name reserved for the remarkable women who lead it, passed down from generation to generation.
Since the year 2000, under the direction of Madame Alexandra Groussard, the second generation of female leadership, the House’s global footprint expanded significantly. While fiercely protecting timeless classic collections, she modernized our artistic approach with new techniques, leading to the Maison being recognized by the French government in 2009 for its rare expertise.
In 2018, the House proudly opened its flagship boutique near the Arc de Triomphe, at 17 Avenue de Friedland in Paris.
In 2023, Madame Masako Miyake became the new Director of Laure Sélignac. Her mission is clear: to meticulously preserve the Maison’s traditions and unique techniques while elevating its international prestige. In honoring this illustrious legacy, the House gracefully evolves into its new era under the name Laure Sélignac Internationale.
